New Digital Collection Fosters a Scholarly Approach to Learning through Easy-to-Use and Accessible Primary Sources
Dallas, Texas – August 13, 2024 – Schlager Group, an educational publisher best known for their focus on primary source documents and critical analysis, is pleased to announce a new collaboration with WiLS, a non-profit membership organization serving libraries and cultural institutions, primarily in Wisconsin.
Effective immediately, WiLS consortium members are eligible for special member institution pricing on the Schlager Digital Library, the unlimited use, DRM-free essential collection of over 2,500 primary sources specially selected to support 2-year and 4-year courses of study across U.S and world history, ethnic and gender studies, American government, and religious studies.
Every document in the collection is hand-curated by a scholar as representative of major themes and issues across history and culture. Plus, original, award-winning commentary and analysis developed by subject-matter experts helps students and researchers pursue historical knowledge and apply that understanding to today’s world.
The Schlager Digital Library is unlike any other library resource available today as it serves a dual purpose: students can use it as a research and reference tool, and instructors can use it as a course materials solution, assigning content directly on their syllabus.
“We are delighted to partner with WiLS to offer preferred pricing to the Schlager Digital Library,” said Neil Schlager, founder and CEO of Schlager Group. “WiLS has a long history of supporting their members via shared electronic resources, and we are thrilled that our collection joins their list of available resources.”
WiLS joins a growing list of library consortia, including the Greater Western Library Alliance and Orbis Cascade Alliance, now offering the Schlager Digital Library collection for their members.
